Sound Absorption and Transmission Loss Measurement

Measurement and reporting of properties such as sound transmission loss and sound absorption of various materials used for acoustic insulation or reduction of reflection can be achieved with an impedance tube.


With the TestSens acoustic performance measurement system developed by us, values such as acoustic impedance, sound transmission loss and sound absorption coefficient can be easily obtained, working in accordance with ASTM E-2611, ASTM E-1050, ISO 10534-2 standards, in the frequency range of 50Hz - 6400 Hz. can be measured under room conditions, temperature and pressure. There are 2 different diameter tubes (100mm, 29mm) in the system for low and high frequency measurements.
